Looks like a T-2 bucket ship just arrived and is working.

Fire now apparently well established across Black Forest Road, structure protection efforts moving east to Herring Road.

Evacuations have been extended to anything east of Peregrine, west of Meridian.

There are a couple reports of possible civilian entrapments. Crews working hard to check. Some area are inaccessible due to fire conditions.

Dozer on scene, headed to Shoup and Herring to try and get some line going, but IC is worried that there may already be long-range spotting beyond Herring, possibly as far north as Hodgen Road. Army Blackhawks from Fort Carson are en route for water drops.

Confirmation from IC that the fire has jumped Herring Road and there are homes involved on the east side of the road.
