Looking at the whole fire from McQueen High. I would estimate at least 700 acres. The only open flame is at the top of the fire as it climbs the ridge west of hunter creek and the eastern shoulder of the fire as it works down into Hunter Creek. Fire remains in flashy fuels. It may soon into country too steep for dozers and very tough for hose lays. Wind is not currently driving the fire and the fuel is not totally dry.
