    She was only 20 in her second fire season. She was apparently struck by a tree that was knocked over by another falling tree. RIP and my prayers are with her family, friends, and colleagues.

    So sad. trees always scared the crap out of me. swore it was never gonna be the fire but a snag or a boulder that got me. God Speed sister ...

    as the 2nd generation of 3 generations of a fire family, my heart extends to the family, daily 2 of my childern are out there at risk doing something that is part of us, it is not what we do but who we are. We are all here for but a short time, we all have a reason, enjoy the time that we have, hold tight to our memories. Rest in peace and may your family and close ones understand you have completed your mission here on this earth.
