This fire has grown to over 200 acres and has transitioned to a Type 3. Active crown fire in heavy timber. Additional MAFFS are dropping retardant and SEATS are also continuing. Multiple resources on order. I'm attached to the incident and may be unable to update further.

Interesting in that Team 7 shows as IC Bob Sommer's Team. Tom Suwyn is the Alternate IC on John Kidd's Team (Team 4)...

Recon flight this morning 740 acres. It slopped over the 129 road last night toward the Middle Fork which added about 200 acres. Road closures in effect. Likely more to come. One base camp and at least one spike camp in the work.

As of about 1900 hours Monday the fire is now over 1,800 acres. It also grew significantly to the west and south. It has crossed over into Upper Johnson Creek and over the 129 road into upper Lostman Creek area. Structure protection will begin at Rocky Bar tomorrow. An area closure is in effect:

All National Forest System roads beginning at the intersection of the Roaring River Road (#255) starting at the Lower Roaring River Trail Head (#045) north to the intersection of Roaring River Road (#255) and Trinity Ridge Road (#129) including all roads between (#290, 290A, 290B, 290C, 290D, 290E, 290F, 290F1, 290F2, 290F3, 290F4, 290H, 290G, 290G1, 290G2, 255C, 255D, 255D1, 255E, 286, 286E, 286E1, 286E2, AND 286F). All National Forest System roads beginning at the intersection of the Forest Service Road 105 at the intersection with Rocky Bar Road (#156) and Forest Service Road 106 at the intersection with Rocky Bar Road (#156) and Forest Service Road 156F from the intersection with Rocky Bar Road (#156) to the intersection with Rocky Bar Road (#156).

The Rocky Bar Road will likely be closed tomorrow based on what I've seen of the fire behavior. A large dust storm pushed the fire in several directions last night and again tonight.
