Driving back to the Methow Valley today from Wenatchee, the winds were cranking along the Columbia River near Wells Dam and the Chelan area. There was so much dust blowing in the areas where fires burned earlier this season. It will be nice to see snow there (even though we are still several weeks away) to keep the dirt on the ground where it belongs.
